5 Cities Winter Can't Beat
This Short counts down the five warmest big US cities by yearly average temperature. Each entry gets a quick reason, such as surrounding warm ocean water, a nearby warm current, or dry desert air that cools off at night. Honolulu takes the top spot thanks to its tropical location far out in the Pacific.
The numbers
- Orlando averages 74°F, Tampa 75°F and Phoenix 76°F over the year.
